KABSA MIX

Ingredients

Black lemon, cardamom, cuminseed, turmeric, cloves, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Soak 1 kg basmati rice in 1 litre water, clean it well.
  2. Softly fry 150 gm onion (in oil in a big vessel), add 70gm tomato paste into it, add 3tbsp ‘AL KEF KABSA MIX’.
  3. Pour 2 litre water (suitable for ghee rice) in the prepared mix and boil it, then put chicken/ mutton/ beef into it.
  4. After 5 min, put the rice and boil, then stir it well and cover it with an airtight lid, after 3 min lower the flame and after 8 min turn the flame off.
  5. Open the lid after one 1hr, serve it hot with mayonnaise or salad and enjoy!
