MANDHI MIX

Ingredients

Coriander, Cumin, Common salt, Flavour enhancer (E621), Black Lemon, Turmeric, Spice extracts, clove flavor, cardamom, Pepper.

Instructions

  1. Take 1 kg chicken, cut it into large pieces and make slits over it, marinate the chicken with 50g “AL KEF MANDHI MIX” keep it for 1hr.
  2. Soak 1 kg basmati rice for 30 minutes, rinse & drain, now cook it (3/4th ) and strain it.
  3. Saute 1 onion, 1 tsp green chilli paste,1t tbsp. ginger garlic paste, 1 tomato, in a large bottomed pan with 2 tbsp butter, until its golden brown, add 5g of ‘AL KEF MANDHI MIX’ and little water, then add 3/4th cooked rice to it, keep it closed for 5min.
  4. On a grill pan, add some butter, few garlic cloves and grill/ fry the chicken, now place it over the rice and give a smoke.
  5. Serve it hot, and enjoy the authentic AL KEF Mandhi.
